Additionally, in 2024, the Company received official authorization for Earth Hour, becoming one of the local organizers in Taiwan and mobilizing the public toward a more sustainable future.

2.Taiwan Association of Energy Service Companies: Provided benchmark cases for validating and promoting energy-saving technologies in the domestic and international ESCO industries. President Chain Store Corporation is dedicated to improving the quality of ready-to-eat foods and creating a high-quality, safe, and sustainable food supply chain. The following are the contributions made through policy engagement activities:

1.Taiwan Delica Foods Development Association: As a founding member of the Taiwan Delica Foods Development Association (serving as chair since 2010), the Company actively engages in third-party collaboration across government, industry, and academia to promote food safety initiatives. These efforts include ongoing dialogue with public agencies such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare (local Departments of Health), Ministry of Agriculture (Agriculture and Food Agency, Department of Animal Industry, and Fisheries Agency), and the Environmental Protection Administration (local Departments of Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety and Health Administration), as well as academic and research institutions such as National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, the Japan Rice Flavor Evaluation Association, and the Japan Rice Cooking Research Institute. To lead in sustainable food supply chain practices, the Company has advanced a variety of initiatives, including the development of 7GAP contract farming for local rice and vegetables, promotion of low-carbon rice and Ryunohitomi certified under Japan’s Special A Biodiversity program, adoption of heat-transfer printing and sealing film technologies to reduce plastic and labeling material usage, and the implementation of new rice-cooking equipment in fresh food factories to lower gas consumption.
